Who We Are

Jeffrey Rocha, CEO & Principal

Jeffrey Rocha specializes in providing organizations with strategic guidance as Principal of The Millennium Group. Jeff works with clients to understand client organizations and specific business needs and then collaboratively develops customized solutions that help improve their bottom line.

Prior to TMG, Jeff Rocha was an executive with AOL, where he headed the strategy development for the company’s technology organization. He has over 20 years of business experience with Internet, telecom, and technology companies such as AOL, MCI and IBM. Jeff has expertise in strategy and planning, finance and operational management. Jeff holds an MBA from New York University and bachelors and masters degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Massachusetts.

Jeff’s experience gives him the view of the client, where he can understand the issues and challenges that TMG’s clients are facing and can recommend appropriate solutions. In his executive career, Jeff has spearheaded some of the same organizational change initiatives that his clients will be looking for assistance in implementing.

Valerie Whitcomb, Director of Learning & Knowledge Management

Valerie Whitcomb is an authoritative expert in human capital development, with practical experience in learning and knowledge management systems.  Valerie partners with clients to maximize the impact of TMG programs in support of mission critical functions. 

Her practical management experience has provided her with an opportunity to directly apply every aspect of workforce training and development programs, at a variety of levels, and to gauge corresponding operational efficiencies.  Her skills encompasses developing and delivering blended learning curriculum which includes classroom delivery, online learning and on-the job training.  She has a wealth of change-management experience in the areas of people and processes, which includes leading implementations of multi-year projects.

Valerie is currently working on her Ph.D. in Applied Management and Decision Sciences with a specialty in Learning and Knowledge Management.  She recently published and presented a paper at the Society for Applied Learning Technologies (SALT) annual conference on Learning Technologies.  The paper discusses the entire process of sourcing and implementing a Learning Management System.   In addition to being an active member of SALT, she belongs to the American Management Association and the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), where she recently became certified in Return on Investment in Training and Development.   Valerie received her MBA from The George Washington University with a concentration in International Management and Marketing and her undergraduate degree is from (BSBA) from Strayer University.
